Overcoming injury and loss for a better future

Overcoming injury and loss for a better future

Our Health and Wellbeing Service focuses on the health problems restricting education under blockade.

This $5 million program, in partnership with the Qatar Red Crescent, benefits 50,000 people struggling with disability in the blockade, creates jobs in construction, vastly improves skills through training and provides much-needed equipment.

Delays in border crossing permits for specialized hospital treatment, a shortage of medical supplies, improperly trained medical staff as a result of the imposed isolation, and the damage done to the health service infrastructure all contribute to incredibly challenging circumstances for the health sector under blockade.
